Crudessence – Rue Mackay / Rue Rachel / Atwater Market

Crudessence has it all: restaurants, uncooking classes, workshops, catering, recipe books, commercial kombucha production, boutiques and their own line of raw food. These tireless living food crusaders prove what raw foodies have been saying for years: that eating raw equals an impressively energetic, vital and vigorous life. Cafe Juicy Lotus – Avenue Monkland

Located on trendy Monkland Avenue, Café Juicy Lotus is a family-owned café offering healthy, homemade vegetarian to go. Owner, Gigi Cohen has brought vegetarian meals to the community for many years now. Her menu changes daily, and includes a multitude of fresh soups, salads and sandwiches. Feature items like the rice noodle vegetable stirfry, supergreen soup, or tofu chicken wings with spicy and sweet garlic sauce makes vegetarian eating an exciting affair!

Studio Bliss

After a run at Mount Royal, amble over for some R & R at Studio Bliss. Pair a yoga class from their varied schedule (anything from Hatha Flow to restorative), with a blissful massage… Hot stones anyone?


Studio Lyne St-RochRue St-Laurent

Wondering where you can experience more of Lyne St-Roch’s inspiring classes? Just head up Montreal’s Main Street! (She also has a location in Magog, Quebec) With classes every day of the week such as prenatal yoga, meditation, pilates and yoga, you are sure to find your centre.


Naada Yoga– Casgrain & St-Viateur

Set in the uber trendy, industrial Mile End, Naada Yoga offers yoga for all preferences. Try the popular wall yoga, move to the beat in Naada live, or nestle into a calming restorative class. Seek the comfort of an organic herbal tea by sinking into the funky green brocade couches in the tearoom. Or check out their concerts and lectures schedule for some artistic stimulation.


Studio Vie – Sherbrooke Street West

Looking for a place to meet other moms while getting in shape? This place is stroller friendly! Outdoor summer bootcamps, mom and baby or belly mama yoga and exercise classes; they’ve got your every need covered. After a sweat session, stock up your groceries at A Votre Sante or amble over to David’s Tea to quench your thirst!




Spa Scandinave – De La Commune West

Experience Spa’s baths and they’ll throw in a eucalyptus steam bath, a Finnish sauna, a hydrojet bath, a thermal waterfall, a cold bath, and a Nordic shower. Plan to spend at least two hours to truly experience the therapeutic benefits of a water spa.

Need more juice to fully recharge? Add some massage to your spa time. Choose from Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone or lomi-lomi techniques.


Spa Vert – Notre Dame Street

Just a bixi station away from the famous Atwater Market & Lachine Canal is Spa Vert,

an oasis for tired minds, bodies and souls. Spa Vert offers,fasciatherapy, osteo approach and thai yoga massage, as well as ancient healing practices such as shiatsu and reiki. All oils oils and balms used during the treatments are organic and locally-sourced. The idea is that anything you touch is as natural as possible, including the organic sheets.
