The full Toronto Zen-sation: The city's top places to yoga.

Since our arrival in Toronto nearly three years ago, our staff and ambassadors have kept busy living out loud, and testing out yoga studios all over the city. Toronto is big, and consequently, so is its studio list! But to save you some time, we have compiled a list of our 11 favourite spots.

Oh yea, and we put them all in this super cool map you can open easily from any device:

Chopra Yoga Toronto
Just a few steps from Lake Ontario, and in Toronto’s picturesque Harbourfront area, Chopra offers a wide variety of heated and non-heated yoga classes based on teachings of Deepak Chopra, as well as an infrared sauna and meditation sessions. We are mildly bias about this beautiful studio, for most of the its profs are part of the Lolë Ambassadors Family, Vivian Wong, Elly MacDonald, Lisa Davidson, Amanda Stokes and 3-time Lolë White Tour teacher, +Grace Dubery.

889 Yoga
This chic new studio and wellness spa is located at the heart of the city, a long list yoga classes, including Therapeutic yoga, begginers, flow, Yin, and more. Extroverts and introverts all have a space in here: book the space for a yoga event or practice one-to-one in a private yoga session.

Downward Dog
One of the most renowned studios in the city, click in the link above to unveil their extensive schedule, teachers training, retreats and special workshops. If it helps your zen, you can even register for some classes in advance.

Core Studio
With a Stunning view of the Toronto skyline and located in the trendy Queen West neighbourhood, this studio should be at the core of your list. Offers yoga and Pilates and if you are lucky, you will catch a class by one of our Lolë Ambassadors, Maira Izzo an Tiffany Clay

FLY Studio
This is where you go to fly like a yogi! Almost next door to Core, it is one of the only studios in Toronto to specialize in aerial and suspension yoga. And, are you ready?… There are also suspended barre classes!

Ideal for the multiple personalities yogis! New in the hood, this is a big, bright, more-than-just-yoga studio that offers no less than 130 classes per week (including indoor cycling).

Glow Yoga Studio
Is a beautiful studio located in the forest a few km north of the city.
Taking advantage of their non-urban setting they also host a run club, boot camps, and workshops (some in partnership with our Lolë Atelier Bayview!).

The Basement Yoga & Fitness Studio
New and of growing popularity, it is unique in its area. Lolë Ambassadors Rebecca Zelewicz and Catalina Schliapnik teach yoga and other fun workshops, like hoop dance.

Kula first opened its doors in Oakville in 2003 with the first Hot Yoga Studio west of Toronto. 5 years later, a second studio followed in The Annex.  Kula Oakville offers 60+ yoga classes per week, featured workshops, family programming, teacher trainings, and community conversations, intuitive council and therapeutic healing services.

Igita Hot Yoga Club, Spa & Boutique
Owned by Lolë Ambassador Maureen Vohora, with classes by more Lolë friends, Michele Drake, Lori Ann Bryant and Liz Snell, Igita Studio is 12, 000 sq ft of hot yoga studios, Pilates, meditation, prenatal classes, and most importantly, the Omn Gym for self defence.

Zenbar Healing Studio
Zenbar is a beautiful and luxurious healing space, yoga studio and detox spa. Enjoy the Himalayan Salt walls, heated treatment slabs, Hammmam Steam Room or a candle-lit meditation session. The rooms, are intimate, so class size is limited and it is important to book your spot in advance. We recommend classes by Carrie, Holly Short, Barb Leese, Ashley Deland and Celina Close.

Of course, you can also yoga for FREE with us, at any of our Lolë Ateliers. Just check out their individual mee-up schedules for details by clicking on the links below.
