Last Saturday October 13th Lolë proudly participated of Montreal’s first Color Run. The team was up long before sunrise, setting up shop at the entrance and readying buckets of YELLOW cornstarch to fling at runners once they reached the end of their first kilometer. The sun may have been down during preps, but spirits where definitely sky-high from the start! It was to be expected, after all we were readying for an explosion of color… So the music was blasting, jokes were cracking and smiles were filling everybody’s faces. Ok, we also caved to temptation and there was some color fighting already materializing in the air… but just as the rest of the day, it was all in good vibes and good faith!

If you are after a more mature description of what went down during the Color Run you may find yourself at a loss, since the aim of the happening is to have shameless fun. The Color Run™ dubs itself “a unique experience focused less on speed and more on crazy color fun with friends and family.”

What’s more, proceeds from each run are donated to a local organization carefully selected by the organizers. A real feel good and spread the happiness event that is sure to leave a colourful mark on your weekend, your community, and well, your clothes!

Aside from the video above, we posted some  photos on our fan page.

As if this were not enough to convince you to join next year, here’s what some Lolë team members replied when asked if they would do it again:

« OF COURSE!!!” – Amelie Despars, Community Manager

“Sans hésitation!!”  – Chloe Durruty, Marketing Coordinator

« are you really asking that?! F@*& yeah! And I will bring my friends! » – Gisela D. Sleizer, Web Marketing Specialist

“C’est sure que je vais le refaire l’année et toujours en tant que bénévole pour donner aux coureurs encore plus de fun, de joie, de jaune, du lolë!” – Charlotte De Coulomme-Peyre, Manager at Lolë Atelier St-Denis
